About
we are no better days, a mult-disciplinary consultancy based in manchester.
We design and build websites, write books, make films, design tshirts, brand companies, illustrate for bands, advise on and implement web analytics for business, write planning applications, draw for architects, design posters, photograph things and people, paint, draw, build, and print things like tshirts.
We may be small, but we keep ourselves busy.
This site provides information on our current and past work, as well as who we are, what we do, and why we do it. It also houses our shop, where you can find some of the things we make for fun, and provides a means of contacting us if you’re interested in working together with us in the future!
Our Work
Our Work
Our philosophy is that the best work is the result of approaching problems from a fresh perspective.
We have a broad team with an equally broad range of skills: our illustrators trained as architects, our developers as physicists, and our film-makers as printers. It's our opinion that this strange mix allows us a creative breadth and freedom (plus technical skills and professionalism)
that you just don't get from three years doing design at uni.
We make a point of trying to push ourselves with each new project, regularly trying out new forms of design and illustration, new technical
processes and new ways of doing things. As far as we're concerned, the more strange or unusual the brief, the better.
Because we work in such a diverse range of fields we often provide several different services for our clients, and are particularly keen on jobs which allow us to make use of the full scope of our talents - thereby also saving our clients a great deal of time and money. Whatever your needs and whatever it is that you want doing, we'd really like to hear from you.

Michael Trained as an Architect, is 6'2", Irish, and enjoys coffee. Also, he once put on a drive-in cinema on the top floor of a multi-storey NCP carpark, grew up on the Isle of Man but still sounds Irish (most days), and turns most of his hobbies into jobs sooner or later. He has two degrees in Architecture - one of which is a First and both of which are from Manchester. One time, he worked on a design for Matt Bellamy's house - but the Illuminati wouldn't let it be built...
James is a designer. He owns far too many cameras and a hat. He started out as a lithographic printer, but then worked his way into graphic design for a Blue Chip pharmaceutical company before later setting out to get some formal education in the subject. During this time, he won a competition to shoot a music video for hottly-tipped band Seerauber Jenny! He is also a keen photographer and DJs at local night, Reverberation.
